be done, and she’s never afraid when it feels like I’m always afraid.

Because I hear my father whispering my name each night, his taunts echoing through the spiritual realm. He’s hunting me, and I know the day will come when I must face him again.

Every portal I open could be the one that finally pulls me back to Hell, and I wonder if I will brave enough, strong enough, good enough to fight him.

My name is Samantha Catherine Lopez, and I am Nephilim. This is my story.

**Fans of the Alpha Girls series will love this new series set in the same world, with a few familiar faces, but you DO NOT have to have read a single word of the Alpha Girls series to enjoy Samantha’s story.

Invocation by Aileen Erin
Five out of five stakes!
Before I get into my thoughts on this awesome book. I want to say thank you for this advanced copy.

Now I dived into this book without reading any others or back story. But that doesn’t matter. You can read this as a stand alone. But fair warning you will want to read every single book on all these characters by the end if not sooner. When I turned the final page I was like wait hold up there has to be more.
Another page? Chapter? Something? Nope.
Damn!!!

I really love these characters all have something that they add to this story and none really seem like background characters honestly.
Sam is so brave and funny. I think I enjoyed her banter with the wolf pack and her “father” figure Frank a lot. He is just funny with the way he sets her up on dates with random guys we find out. But Sam’s banter with Eli is even better. I love, love Eli. I felt so bad for him towards the wnd of this book. You could just feel how much he wanted to help and do something. But he just couldn’t.

Now then there is Phoenix which how can we not love this character from the moment Sam describes him and their interaction together when she was just 17. They were both kind of awkward then and even more so now. Both of them made me laugh, I was like yeah okay come on girl get it together start talking. And Phoenix with his rambling and unsure of himself was even better.

When everything seems to happen in a span of a few days this book goes so quick you don’t realize how much has really happened.
Sam saves people from themselves and from demons and such. This book I was drawn to because I like the whole is the spirit still with us or not and where do they go?

But for Sam this is her life and always has and always will be forevermore. She not only needs and wants to do this its necessary… Because her father is yeah trying to pull her literally into hell again and keep her there.
When she doesn’t think twice about helping a friend who gets stuck there as a trap to get her there… Thats when things go crazy and how she figures this all out… Check this book out and the rest of the series on the other characters now.

What did everyone think of this book? Did you enjoy it as much as I did? Were you surprised by the ending or did you know all a long how it might end?
