In sickness and in health, to love and to cherish . . .

It sounds so simple, to love someone unconditionally.

She said yes, and yet, in order for her to be with me . . . I need to let her go.

Read Chp 1:

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.

Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking.

Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!

The Left Side Of Perfect – Release Day – August 30

For better or for worse,’til death do us part . . .

The better captured me; she’s who stole my heart.

And made me realize I couldn’t live without this woman.

The worse of her took my breath away–kicked me when I was down and twisted me into a million knots.

When I first met her, I thought she was someone I would never see again.

The second time I ran into her, it was a random coincidence.

The third?

I didn’t know it at the time, but she was the girl I was going to marry.

But life isn’t always perfect. You have to take the better and the worse–even if it means giving her up, having her slip between your fingers, and letting her walk away.

I’m getting married.

This is forever, ’til death do us part.

Thoughts on Tequila & Tea Bags

5 out of 5 stakes!

Wow I finished this book in two days. I stayed late the second night, I just couldnt bring myself to put it down. I was like okay last chapter then bed. Nope I stayed up and said I have to finish this fantastic book.
Rose being a crazy young female who parties a little too much, gets sent to live with her cousin that she hasn’t seen in forever. Not knowing that her cool cousin Elsie is now wanting to become a nun. Rose must deal with a small village of people who know everything about her already. And also a cousin whom she thinks is a bore.
However when she finds out that working at a care home for elderly people she can get a free plane ticket to wherever. Rose decides yes this will work. But making bad choices along the way is just some of the fun and not fun of this book. Some parts made me laugh literally out loud. I was like oh well. Other parts I was like are you that dumb? Then there is Will I truly enjoyed getting to know this character. But through it all my fave character is Elsie yes the young woman wanting to become a nun. I think there should be another book about her life and so on. She was funny and I loved her but I can’t watch tv or netflix when I’m a nun they won’t allow it. Please another book.

Thoughts on Reboot #1 by Amy Tintera

5 out of 5 stakes!!

Wow I didnt actually think this book was about zombies. But it was written in a way that you forget. Because I normally dont read books about zombies. But this, this book is so fantastic that I forgot about it. It’s that great. I was rooting for them. Well for 178 ( Wren ). Wren is such a unique character and I was thinking damn you are a badass. Because she does everything the special government asked of her. Why not they feed her and has a place to stay long as she does what they ask. Capture reboots or criminals for them no matter the cost. But when she has to train a young reboot who doesnt follow orders she has to decide does she want to stay there or save ( 22 ) Callum. Callum doesnt want to hurt or kill or capture anyone. But when they start doing testing on the younger number recruits and Wren’s roommate goes crazy and starts attacking the guards and others like her. Wren makes a plan to escape to save Callum before they kill him or do tests on him. However once outside and hiding they realize there is a retreat for reboots with human rebels.
Wren can’t believe humans want to help them.. They have always been afraid of reboots, why help now?
Looking forward to book 2. Can’t wait to see how the retreat will be with humans and reboots living together..

Stephanie St. Klaire is a Pacific Northwest native currently living in Portland, Oregon with her husband, five children, and two ferocious lap dogs that are used to the finer things in life like sleeping all day. When she isn’t writing, she can usually be found with a plate full of taco’s, a side of bean dip, and probably some gummy bears while being a little bit hippy and a lot bit busy mom’ing and wife’ing.

When she’s not tossing around gritty crime show inspired serial killers and diabolical bad guys, she likes to make people pee their pants a little with a good romcom. Sometimes, her worlds collide, and she writes really funny stuff right before she kills people off on the pages! She loves murder and mayhem as much as a good laugh and HEA! That’s why she’s a die-hard Hallmark junky but loves her gritty crime shows – balance!

Stephanie has always been a story teller, with the gift of “gab”, and a life-long goal to be a writer. Unfortunate circumstances with her health, finally afforded her the time to do so. Irony at its best, she began writing her first novel at an adverse time, to escape her circumstance and explore the stories in her imagination for relief. She is happy to share those stories with her readers, and bring a little fun, entertainment, and of course smexy characters to the pages.

Thoughts on The Phoenix Project by C.A. Gray and Narrator Melissa Williams

My thoughts on The Phoenix Project
By C.A. Gray Narrator by Melissa Williams

4 out of 5 stakes!
Damn and I thought book 2 was awesome but this book 3 tops it.
When some rebels died or were captured because of Kate’s broadcast, what do they do now?
Everyone is losing hope and because of the brainwashing still going on. Jackson is such a wonderful character and I felt so bad for him and Kate.
When Voltolini trys to explain his side to Kate about everything, what can she really trust? Because her whole life she was told and shown how life is. But when finally has her has opened and the brainwashing gets broken whom can she trust?

Will kate be able to help Jackson get free? Will she get free and can Jackson trust Kate again?
This whole whole book I was like come on rebels take them down.

I really honestly don’t want to give any spoilers on this wonderful book. So please just go buy it.

Publisher: Wanderlust Publishing⎮2017

Genre: Young Adult, Science Fiction

Release date: May 4, 2017

Synopsis: The haven city of Beckenshire has been demolished, and most of the rebels lie beneath the rubble. The few that remain scramble to communicate with the outside world, knowing that if they are to stand a chance in the coming war, they can’t do it alone. In a last ditch effort to grow their ranks, the remaining rebels systematically destroy the repeaters which help to propagate the control center signals. And it’s working: citizens in targeted cities are waking up in droves. But Ben Voltolini will stop at nothing to quell the uprising before it has a chance to get off the ground. And he has one major ace up his sleeve: Kate Brandeis.

During Kate’s broadcast to the nation, Voltolini unleashed targeted brainwave signals against her, causing her to allow both Jackson MacNamera’s capture, and her own. Now, despite Voltolini’s exquisite wining and dining, she can’t seem to stop the panic attacks. Whom can she trust? What is truth? Is there even such a thing?

Meanwhile, imprisoned and hopeless, Jackson realizes the depths of his feelings for Kate only after he has already lost her. The incredible self-control upon which he prides himself gets put to the ultimate test when he meets an unlikely ally who just may turn the tide in the rebels’ favor – but only if Jackson can put aside his own bitterness. In this gripping conclusion to The Liberty Box Trilogy, new and surprising alliances are formed, passions run high, and our heroes learn what they are really made of. Do they have what it takes to fight for freedom – even if it means paying the ultimate price?

About the Author: C.A. Gray

By day, C.A. Gray is a Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD) with a primary care practice in Tucson, AZ, and she writes medical books under her real name (Dr. Lauren Deville). She lives with her husband, with whom she maintains a facetiously contentious movie review blog, and travels as often as they can get away. When not writing or seeing patients, she does yoga, drinks red wine while eating dark chocolate, and consumes audiobooks like there’s no tomorrow!

About the Narrator:

Melissa lives with her family, including two dogs and a cat, in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains near Denver, Colorado.

After having a corporate job for most of her life, and as a self-proclaimed introvert, she decided to leave corporate America to work from home. Voice overs had always tugged at her heart as something she would like to explore, so she attended some classes and landed with a company that taught her how to break in to the industry.

Loving to read, she explored the fast growing world of audiobooks and fell in love with it. She has ten audiobooks under her belt and is currently working on the 11th. Understanding that she should always be learning how to improve her skills, she is currently working with Sean Pratt.

When not talking to herself in a padded room, she can be found walking her dog, singing or fishing the Arkansas River.TwitterFacebook
