Lots of things are going on in this second book. I love how we learn more about Chi and some more of his past.

And we get to see just how the underground rebels are really doing.

With Taylor in charge and things going down.

Thia and her mother grown a little closer. Thia learns some more on how her mother feels about men in general and how she feels about Thia’s relationship with Chi.
Things get tougher on everyone when the government takes action into their hands. The rebels have to take drastic measures to get more food and medicine. And to top it off Chi and Thia’s relationship gets tested.

So many things happen, I felt like I was on an adventure. Because I was getting nervous about things and then I got so annoyed and then sad. 
I really can’t wait for the next book, I want to know what happens now! 

What are they going to do now?

How will everyone handle this surprise?
