Thoughts on Reboot #1 by Amy Tintera

5 out of 5 stakes!!

Wow I didnt actually think this book was about zombies. But it was written in a way that you forget. Because I normally dont read books about zombies. But this, this book is so fantastic that I forgot about it. It’s that great. I was rooting for them. Well for 178 ( Wren ). Wren is such a unique character and I was thinking damn you are a badass. Because she does everything the special government asked of her. Why not they feed her and has a place to stay long as she does what they ask. Capture reboots or criminals for them no matter the cost. But when she has to train a young reboot who doesnt follow orders she has to decide does she want to stay there or save ( 22 ) Callum. Callum doesnt want to hurt or kill or capture anyone. But when they start doing testing on the younger number recruits and Wren’s roommate goes crazy and starts attacking the guards and others like her. Wren makes a plan to escape to save Callum before they kill him or do tests on him. However once outside and hiding they realize there is a retreat for reboots with human rebels.
Wren can’t believe humans want to help them.. They have always been afraid of reboots, why help now?
Looking forward to book 2. Can’t wait to see how the retreat will be with humans and reboots living together..

5 out of 5 stakes!!

Aww this book is so sweet. Ha Ha I dont know how else to describe how much I enjoyed this book. The characters I love. I couldnt find anything wrong with them if I tried. I understood both points of view. This story is told from Leo and Kylie.
Kylie is now a senior and does everything by the book and never breaks the rules. Then her younger sister points out that she is boring and has no life. And said how their older sisters had more fun. So Kylie starts thinking hmm I bet I can have fun. So she makes a secret list of things she wants to do for the rest of senior year. However she loses the pink slip of paper and Leo finds it. Leo is such a great guy. He holds her secret for her and offers to help her out with the list. Leo thinks I finally can hang out with my crush. So not give any spoilers away but believe me its a fun list to be had and it was fun watching these two come together. Oh please make another book with these two. I feel their story isn’t over yet.

Thoughts on Elemental Lies ( book 2 ) by Elle Middaugh

5 out of 5 Stakes!!

So yes this was just wow. The quick paced adventure. And it was a scary one for Val, friends and family. In this book it continues on from the aftermath of book 1. Where you didn’t know if friends, family, neighbors or foes were alive or dead. For me I feel that Val learned so much but not enough. Now Val had to eventually go home from her hideaway. But what they find are everyone is on a side and not a good or bad side. and humans are more afraid now then ever of different humans. Val finds Sienna and she fills her on on everything including a curfew in place for those whom are different. Holden is still the same and okay. But when Val see’s Cade again eveything just feels right to her. We spend a better part of the book trying to learn secrets and trying to find Nicholai. But Val and her friends find are so much more. Lies that have been going on so long. And not everyone is a friend to the cause. However it leads me to that ending… What the heck!! Waiting and waiting for book 3. Love these books so very much.

She learns secrets that her father hid from her. And it takes her on a journey when she realizes the voices she has heard all her life are real and she can walk through time, time travel.

Thoughts on Lies that Bind by Diana Rodriguez Wallach

5 out of 5 stakes!

What an adventure..

Damn this book is awesome. Anastasia doesn’t disappoint in this second book. I’m so looking forward to the 3rd and final book. When Anastasia and her little group come together to find the other Dresden kids who have been wronged. Little does she know someone is working against them. Plus when Marcus and her finally finds his brother, things just start getting crazy. Anastasia doesn’t trust that Marcus’s brother Antonio doesn’t know anything nor is done with Department D. Her gut is telling her not to trust him, but then she doesn’t trust anyone. Then rumors fly that her parents are alive and behind everything bad… What can she believe? The chase and adventure is on to get evidence that not only prove that department D is still running and won’t stop.
