My review for Everything, Everything By Nicola Yoon

4 out of 5 stars!!!
Where do I even begin with this book? I did very much enjoy this book, it was a quick read that is for sure. Finished it in 6 hours. We meet Madeline who we find out has SCID and basically can’t go outside or have vistors. Her nurse Carla takes care of her during the day. Madeline’s mother who is a doctor cares for her in the evening after work. But soon a new family moves in next door. Eventually Madeline meets Olly and they form an online friendship. Madeline wants to take a chance with life and love. Because she wants so much more then staying indoors. This book is about taking that chance on love and life. I was a little bit surprised to find out more about Madeline’s mother. I like how Olly was so open and honest about his feelings. I feel like we should have a sequel to this.

My review for In the AfterLight By Alexandra Bracken

4 out of 5 stars!!

This final book was great. We are in the aftermath of what happened at the HQ in the Los Angeles area. Ruby and the others are in an underground area. As a last place, that no one knows about except the league.

As Ruby is trying to forgive herself about Jude and the others, she ends up pushing away Liam and everyone.

We learn a little more of how Cole thinks and why. Also how Cole remembers what it was like growing up for him and what Liam doesn’t really remember.

I think this book really showed how everyone really dealt with the loss of family and friends and what they did or didn’t do to move past it.

Nico still trying to forgive himself and prove himself to Ruby and the others. Clancy still up to no good, no matter how he wanted you to feel sorry for him. You really can’t, well at least I couldn’t. But an unexpected good thing happened with everyone. The cure is still mentioned a lot.

I kind of want another book. But that’s just me.

My review for The Chemist by Stephenie Meyer

  • I give this book 4 out of 5 stars!

Alright this book was a little bit confusing at first. It took me a little bit to get into it. I couldn’t get over Alex doing the same set up each time on the run. I feel that saying in detail everytime was like yeah we got the point. However when getting past all that and seeing why the character does that you can kind of understand it. Now Alex whom is running and hiding from the government that she use to work for gets an email that changes everything.
Her old boss offers her a way out, catch this school teacher who is doing bad and get the answers and she’s free. She Alex use to be somewhat of a means to an end with her job. They called her in to get information out of traders, but she used tools that no one else did.

So Alex thinks hmm, this job may be to good to be true. But she wants to stop running. So yes she takes the job, but things aren’t as they seem. The school teacher Daniel isn’t whom they say he is. But to uncover the truth of everything she has to work with him and his brother and some dogs. What they find is nothing but lies on every end. Alex starts to fall for Daniel and it’s a risk.

When things go wrong, will Alex run? Or will she stay and help? Can they uncover everything and stay alive?

I enjoyed this book for what it is. Its nothing like her Twilight Saga or The Host. So if you are looking for something like that keep going. This was an adult suspense book. I do wish she would write another to this story.

My review for A million Suns by Beth Revis

5 out of 5 stars!!

I truly love this series. Seems it just keeps getting better. The mystery of who is doing what and why?

In this second book we find that it has been 3 months and things are not any better on GodSpeed. Chaos is really hot to explain it, no one is listening to Elder make choices. They start rebelilling against him. Riots are going on and people die. Elder comes with having a police force, but even that isn’t working. Doc trying to help Elder makes patches to help subdue people and calm them just make it worse.

Amy just wants off GodSpeed and to wake her parents and figure out her feelings for Elder. But when she starts finding clues on how close they are to their actual planet and how to land GodSpeed. It becomes crazy, because some people don’t want to leave, and will stop at nothing to keep it that way.  Can Amy and Elder figure out their feelings for each other and a way to the new planet before the ship is in ruins?

My review for Harry Potter and the cursed child by J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany, Jack Thorne.

5 out of 5 stars!!!

This book was way more then I expected and in a great way.  I mean here I was just really wishing that I would like it. But I love it and I want more. In this book we meet Harry and Ginny’s children and Ron, Hermione’s children and Draco’s son.

Its clear when it starts that Albus is having trouble fitting in. Albus only makes one friend in his first year and that’s Scorpius. Now not to give a lot away but these two boys find themselves just trying to fit in. Although Albus dislikes Hogwarts more. But when they meet Delphi that’s when their trouble only begins.

For Harry, Hermione,Ron that means the past is coming back and they must figure out how to stop what is to come. Because there is a time turner, that the boys get a hold of and Albus wants to right the wrong that he feels his father has done. But will changing the past be all that great when the future is at stake? I really, really want more of these characters. I want to see what happens with these young kids.
