5 out of 5 stars!
This book is amazing, I love this book.

Really looking forward to reading book # 2.

Sam has to spend her spring break with her Uncle Eric on a haunted island and castle because her parents spending their anniversary elsewhere.

Now Sam isn’t looking forward to spending all week there with her Uncle and his two best friends while they film their ghost hunting show.

Especially when she’s trying to make everyone including herself believe she is normal. For Sam see’s things that others can’t. But trying to stay normal on this island is much harder then she ever thought it would be. Soon things start happening in the castle that she doesn’t know if it’s real or not.

Sam must come to terms with her family’s secret that she’s not just cursed but has the ability to help others. Can she save herself from a haunted serial killer and other dark spirits and her friends before the week is up?

Now even though this book is young adult it is a paranormal horror book. So beware it does have some crazy stuff that happens. But so amazing at least in my opinion.

Fall of Thrones and Thorns

by Jennifer Ellision

(Threats of Sky and Sea #3)

Publication date: September 27th 2016

Genres: Fantasy, Young Adult
Synopsis:

War hurtles in, a typhoon over the sea.
After Bree’s life was torn apart, Nereidium had represented a haven to her. A place that—if she could save it—was beyond the King’s reach.
And, at last, she’s arrived upon its shores. But things in Nereidium are not what they should be.
The land is plagued by a rash of mysterious earthquakes, the likes of which it’s never known. The governors are distracted by old traditions, while Bree and her friends grapple with changing identities and the sense that the longer they wait to take action… the greater the danger from Egria grows.
Bree is tired of living under the shadow of King Langdon’s power. And she’s tired of waiting for him to be the first to act.
In this final chapter of the Threats of Sky and Sea series, it all comes down to Nereidium or Egria. To Bree or the King. It’s kill… or be killed.
And not everyone will escape the battle unscathed.

4 out of 5 stars.
This book is just that twisted, makes you really wonder and think could a thousand Gods just show up and show themselves?

Probably not.. But reading this book makes you feel like your in it and your living it.

For Morag Chen she can hardly believe any of this… What is it really that she is seeing?

Can her and Daniel uncover the secrets and save him? For his mind has been taken over by these beings.

Is there anyway to fight back and have their lives back? This book has a lot of suspense and you are questioning if they can figure out everything. Definitely check out this second book. Because I don’t want to give away any spoilers. So read it and have fun.

Published by: Skyscape

Publication date: September 20th 2016

Genres: Science Fiction, Young Adult
Synopsis:

Young genius Morag Chen doesn’t believe in the supernatural. Or not until a thousand gods show up in front of her, appearing from a clear-blue sky. The Architects are terrifying, they’re hypnotically attractive, and they’re real—but what are they, and what do they want, and why have they stolen the mind of Daniel Calder, the person she is closest to?
Ancient gods? Invading aliens? Everyone has a theory, but no one has guessed the truth. In this dark, suspenseful, mind-bending sequel to The Fire Seekers, Morag picks up the narration from Daniel as she works to accept that there’s more than one way to think about the nature of humanity. And she will find that the only way forward is through secrets that Daniel himself seems desperate but unable to convey.
A mysterious lab. The house of a dying billionaire. The hidden home of a strange and forgotten people. In each of these places, Morag and Daniel will come a step closer to answers, hope, and a way of fighting back.

Oh my do I really like this book.

The very first page sucked me in. I was thinking this is going to be a very very interesting book.

We first know something is amiss when Gwen’s best friend Lana doesn’t answer her texts and phone calls. You think we’ll maybe Lana did get grounded. But Gwen didn’t think Lana would miss school and neither did their best friend Mindy. As they head to their classes everyone starts hearing about people missing from all over the world. But not just a few here and there… There hundred thousand people.

Without any trace, just disappeared in the middle of the night. Everyone starts coming up with theories and one of the theories is that a rapture is coming soon.

Gwen doesn’t believe exactly and her friend Isaiah doesn’t either.  Soon Gwen starts getting emails from someone claiming to be Lana. Gwen wants to believe it’s from her best friend Lana, so Isaiah and Gwen set out to uncover the truth behind the lies. But will the truth be to much? Can they uncover it in time? Find out all the answers in this book.
